Man. I learned something today. Do not take your two prescription allergy medicines and then take an over-the-counter cold medicine because you don’t feel well. Just don’t do it. The sore throat and congestion didn’t go away and now I’m really lightheaded to boot. There’s also a serious lack of attention span going on here. The idiot-proof warning labels need to be a little bigger, methinks…

Well, the package was delivered yesterday. To the wrong house. I saw that on the tracking page and called to complain. The girl I talked to said they’d have the driver come back out today to pick up the package and bring it to me. Then this morning, I got a voice mail while I was in class. I couldn’t really figure out what the guy meant, but it sounded like he was saying that I won’t get the package until Monday because the driver had already left and they didn’t have direct contact with the drivers. That, by the way, makes no sense…why would a company that makes deliveries not be in direct contact with their drivers? Anyway, I called back later and the guy I talked to this time said that the package is with the driver right now and I should have it by 6:30 PM at the very latest. We’ll see.
Well, it’s 6:20 PM and I don’t have my bag yet. DHL’s shipment tracking page claims that it has been with the delivery courier since 8:00 AM. I’d like to know where this courier is and why he or she hasn’t delivered the bag yet. The guy I talked to last night claimed he would write a note to the courier to let him/her know that it was important to make sure that the package got delivered today. Unless they keep some weird hours and will be here in another hour or so, somebody needs a few lessons in reading comprehension. I’ll wait another hour or so, and if I don’t get the package by then, I’ll be talking to a supervisor or two. This is just ridiculous.
