Bored

I haven’t posted anything here in weeks, mostly because I just haven’t had anything to say. Tonight, I post out of sheer boredom. I must do something or go insane. Oooh, just remembered something I need to do :). I’ve been working on making a pillow for my sister. It was supposed to be a wedding present (3 1/2 years ago, eeep!), but I didn’t get it started in time (read: I sent off for the materials far in advance, but they didn’t arrive until 2 or 3 weeks before the wedding, which is *not* enough time to do an insane amount of embroidery and sewing). Therefore, I told her that I would finish the pillow someday, but it would probably be a while. Being the nice sister that she is, she told me that she understood and wasn’t in any hurry to get it. And boy, has it been a while :p. I’ve been working on it off and on this whole time, but it seems that when I finally remember to work on it again, I’ll manage to get some of it finished, but then I suddenly get horribly busy and can’t work on it for a while. And then I forget. And, well, you know how it goes. So, I guess I should quit writing and go work on that now :).

This past weekend was the best weekend ever to exist in the span of time I call my life. It was incredible. The very awesomeness of this weekend defies words. You may wonder what made this weekend so very special…my Cal came to visit :). That’s right…after a little over two months of talking but not meeting, we have met, and it was better than great. The things that I am feeling escape the boundaries of words, which are flawed in their creation by the human mind. I have found happiness, this great boundless pool of it, and I fail to describe it properly. All that I can truly fit into the limits of words is that I am happier now than I have ever been, and I know that this is only the beginning of a lifetime full of this happiness. This lifetime stands before us, and although we have already started our path into it, I continually find myself eager to discover what comes next. Whatever it is, I know that it will be great :D

An interesting side-effect of being with a man with a British accent (I’m American, if you didn’t know)…you know how you hear your voice in your head when you think? Mine has taken on a slight but distinctly British accent :D
